#CircuitBreakers, produced by Cottonwood Media for @appletvplus, nominated for a Writers Guild of America Award 🎬
CIRCUITS BREAKERS is a 12-episode premium live-action series produced by COTTONWOOD MEDIA, @federationstudios ' Kids & Family production subsidiary, and @aircraftpicturesltd for @appletvplus. It is available on Apple TV since November 2022.
Cottonwood media is proud of this distinction, which is particularly rare for a French producer.
David Michel, co-founder and president of COTTONWOOD MEDIA, said: "Cottonwood Media was fortunate to produce Circuit Breakers for AppleTV+, a very high budget premium series produced in English by our Toronto office. This collaboration with Apple gave us access to talent, especially screenwriters, that only American majors have access to. It is because of this opportunity given to us by AppleTV+ and Melody Fox, who wrote the pilot for this series, that we were nominated for a WGA award."
The series is created by Melody Fox (The Haunting Hour) and showrunner Andrew Orenstein (3rd Rock from the sun). Matt Hastings (Orphan Black) wrote the first episode. Sarah Haasz, David Michel and Cecile Lauritano at Cottonwood Media, Andrew Orenstein, Matt Hastings, Anthony Leo and Andrew Rosen at Aircraft Pictures, and Todd Berger are executive producing 👏
Our sister distribution company, Federation Kids & Family, has nabbed world rights for its upcoming TV series “Welcome to Lolyland.”🌈
The project is one of 80 being pitched this week at Cartoon Forum, the leading European event for animated TV series in development aimed at industry professionals, that runs in the south-eastern French city of Toulouse.
