Cottonwood Media is a subsidiary of Federation Studios and a part of its kids’ division, Federation Kids & Family. It was founded in 2015 by David Michel, Zoé Carrera Allaix and Cécile Laurenson. Cottonwood Media creates, produces and invests in premium talent-driven kids content with a focus on bringing together North American and European audiences on both linear and non-linear platforms. 

Based in Paris, Berlin and the U.K, Cottonwood’s productions include live-action series such as the recently launched  Lady Grace Mysteries (BBC, ZDF, FTV), Circuit Breakers (sci-fi for Apple TV), Spellbound (2 seasons, Hulu), Theodosia  (2 seasons, HBO Max), Find Me in Paris (3 seasons, Hulu, sold in over 90 territories), animated feature film Around the World in 80 Days distributed by Studio Canal (#1 French movie in Box office international in 2021), and animated series such as 20 Dance Street (dramedy/ballet), The Ollie and Moon Show (pre-school, NETFLIX), and the wacky comedy Squish (6-10yrs).
